For the last six years, DAG Productions has collaborated with Reel Works, a nonprofit dedicated to mentoring, inspiring, and empowering underserved NYC youth by helping them share their stories through filmmaking. This partnership has paved the way for successful media careers for many young individuals. In 2019, DAG formally partnered with the MediaMKRS program to reimagine the traditional internship model, offering underrepresented youth a gateway into documentary filmmaking. Together, these innovative initiatives have provided career-mentoring opportunities, allowing many participants to launch careers in film, television production, and related industries.
